Results and data protection

Which metrics exist, what they are worth, how the results work without personal reference and what the minimum group size does.

A rate on its own changes nothing. The movement over time does.

The four metrics

MetricWhat it is worth
Click rate of a campaignOf little meaning as a snapshot. It depends heavily on template, timing and occasion.
Report rateThe genuinely interesting figure. It measures the action that helps in an emergency, and it rises faster than the click rate falls.
Completed lessonsShows whether the learning moment worked. A high click rate with a high completion rate is better than both being low.
Development over four runsThe report for management. Four points over a year say more than one perfect single measurement.

Results without personal reference

The results can be kept without personal reference. What is measured then is the rate of the group, not the name.

The assignment of the lesson to the person concerned is not affected: it happens at the moment of the click and without a detour through the results.

The minimum group size

Below the minimum group size the results show no figures. The default is five people. From a group of three a single person could otherwise be worked out.

The number is stated verbatim in the announcement to the workforce. Lowering it touches the same commitment as switching to person-related results, and the product asks for a justification.

Deadlines and reminders

An assigned lesson has a deadline, 14 days by default. If it stays open, exactly one reminder goes out, after 7 days by default. Training that nags three times a day does not get completed, it gets clicked away.

Those who fall for it every time

There is deliberately no automatic escalation per person. It would be exactly the shaming that is meant to be avoided, and with results without personal reference it would not be technically possible.

If a group stands out, that group gets an occasion-based run and a matching lesson. It stays a group, not a list of names.
