Getting started with Conbool email security

Conbool is a German email security suite with several modules in one portal. The path from sign-up to the first protected domain.

Conbool combines its email security modules in one platform operated from Germany. This category leads from the account to the first protected domain.

What Conbool is

Conbool is a complete email security suite. The integrated modules cover inbound protection, email encryption, secure file transfer, central signatures, DMARC reporting, legally compliant archiving, Microsoft 365 backup, continuity during outages and security awareness training. All modules run on the same platform, share one admin portal and write into one common audit log. One module is enough to start with, the others can be added later.

One platform, all modules

Instead of loose individual tools, every module sits on one multi-tenant platform with central identity management. Policies, domains and roles are managed per tenant, with no tool switching and no duplicated user directories. Which module covers which need is shown in the modules at a glance.

EU hosting, GDPR and ISO 27001

The data centre is located in Germany and the contracting party is a German company. Processing follows a data processing agreement under GDPR Art. 28, and the tamper-proof audit log satisfies GDPR Art. 30. The platform is ISO 27001 certified and multi-tenant capable. No data is transferred to US hyperscalers in third countries.

Getting started in four steps

  1. Register an account and sign in
  2. Create a tenant
  3. Connect a domain and set the DNS records
  4. Invite users and assign roles

Once the domain is connected, DMARC Reports can be switched on immediately and free of charge. Paid modules such as MailGuard follow through licensing and billing.
