Systems Engineer Email Infrastructure m/f/d

About the role

Behind Conbool runs an email gateway that inspects, encrypts and delivers business-critical messages every day. Deliverability, standards compliance and operational reliability directly determine the quality of the product.

We are looking for someone who understands this engine room and keeps building it: from mail flow and DNS standards to on-premises installations at customers with demanding requirements.

• Operate and evolve the mail flow with Postfix and rspamd
• Implement and maintain email standards: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, DANE, MTA-STS, TLS-RPT
• Monitor deliverability, maintain IP reputation and bounce handling
• Support on-premises deployments at customers: Docker, high availability, monitoring
• Analyse incidents, document them properly and fix them at the root

• Solid experience with Linux and Docker in production
• Hands-on experience with mail servers, ideally Postfix, and spam filtering
• Good understanding of DNS and email authentication
• Calm, structured way of working, even when things are on fire
• Very good German for direct customer contact
