System Filters
Manage global blacklists and whitelists centrally to block or allow emails account-wide. CSV import and export for bulk management.
System Filters
System filters are global black- and whitelists managed centrally by administrators. Unlike user-specific filters, system filters apply account-wide to all email addresses.
Overview
The system filters view is divided into two panels:
- Blacklist (red): Email addresses that are blocked account-wide.
- Whitelist (green): Email addresses that bypass quarantine account-wide.
Managing Entries
Each entry in a system filter list contains the following fields:

| Email Address | The address to filter (e.g., spam@example.com) or domain (@example.com) |
| Creation Date | Automatically set when the entry is created |
Note: Notes for entries can be added via CSV import.
Adding an Entry
- Navigate to MailGuard > System Filters.
- The view shows Blacklist and Whitelist side by side.
- Enter the email address or domain in the input field.
- Click + to add the entry.
Removing an Entry
Click the delete icon next to the desired entry to remove it from the list.
CSV Import and Export
For bulk management of filter entries, system filters support import and export in CSV format.
CSV Import
- Click Import.
- Select a CSV file with the following structure:
- Column 1: Email address or domain
- Column 2: Note (optional)
- Confirm the import.
CSV Export
- Click Export.
- The current list will be downloaded as a CSV file.
Difference from User-Specific Filters

System filters always take precedence over user-specific filters.
Required Permission
Available to Owner and Operator.
