System Filters

Manage global blacklists and whitelists centrally to block or allow emails account-wide. CSV import and export for bulk management.

System Filters

System filters are global black- and whitelists managed centrally by administrators. Unlike user-specific filters, system filters apply account-wide to all email addresses.

Overview

The system filters view is divided into two panels:

  • Blacklist (red): Email addresses that are blocked account-wide.
  • Whitelist (green): Email addresses that bypass quarantine account-wide.

Managing Entries

Each entry in a system filter list contains the following fields:

FieldDescription
Email AddressThe address to filter (e.g., spam@example.com) or domain (@example.com)
Creation DateAutomatically set when the entry is created

Note: Notes for entries can be added via CSV import.

Adding an Entry

  1. Navigate to MailGuard > System Filters.
  2. The view shows Blacklist and Whitelist side by side.
  3. Enter the email address or domain in the input field.
  4. Click + to add the entry.

Removing an Entry

Click the delete icon next to the desired entry to remove it from the list.

CSV Import and Export

For bulk management of filter entries, system filters support import and export in CSV format.

CSV Import

  1. Click Import.
  2. Select a CSV file with the following structure:
    • Column 1: Email address or domain
    • Column 2: Note (optional)
