Configure global MailGuard settings. Enable or disable user blacklists and user whitelists in the quarantine portal.
MailGuard Settings
The global MailGuard configuration can be found under Settings > MailGuard. Here you define whether users are allowed to create their own filter rules in the quarantine portal.
Available Options
Allow User Blacklist

When enabled, users can independently block email addresses or domains. Entries on the personal blacklist only apply to the respective user's mailbox.
Allow User Whitelist

| Description | Allows users to manage a personal whitelist in the quarantine portal. |
When enabled, users can independently exempt email addresses or domains from quarantine. Entries on the personal whitelist only apply to the respective user's mailbox.
Effect When Disabled
When one or both options are disabled:
- Users cannot create new personal filter rules of the corresponding type.
- Existing personal entries are retained but no longer applied.
- The corresponding option is hidden from users in the quarantine portal.
- Administrators can still manage global entries via system filters.
Configuration
- Navigate to Settings > MailGuard.
- Enable or disable the Allow User Blacklist toggle.
- Enable or disable the Allow User Whitelist toggle.
- Changes take effect immediately.
Required Permission
Available to Owner and Operator.
