Issue Certificates

In the S/MIME menu item, certificates can be issued directly via a connected or managed certificate authority.

Procedure

1. Click the certificate authority icon in the upper area.
2. Select the desired source:
   • SwissSign MPKI (via own connection)
   • D-Trust MPKI
   • Own MPKI for self-signed certificates
3. Enter the required data (email address, name, organization if applicable).
4. Select the appropriate certificate product.
5. Confirm the issuance.

The certificate is automatically assigned to the respective identity after successful issuance and displayed in the list.

Automatic Assignment via Groups

Certificates can optionally be automatically created and renewed via group policies.
If a group is assigned to an MPKI, all group members automatically receive a certificate with the configured parameters.
