Key Export
Export PGP keys for backup or sharing with external partners.
PGP – Export Keys
PGP keys can be exported at any time, for example to share externally or to back up.
Procedure
- Open the PGP section.
- Click the three-dot menu (⋯) on the desired entry.
- Select "Download".
- Choose the desired key type:
- Public key:
.asc(text format) - Private key:
.asc(optionally password-protected)
- Public key:
Notes
- Public keys can be freely distributed (e.g., via keyserver or email).
- Private keys should only be exported securely and should not be shared.
- When downloading private keys, encryption is automatically applied.
