Tracing – Analysis and Troubleshooting of Your Email Flow

The Tracing tool allows you to analyze the email flow in your system and quickly identify problems.

Functions of the Tracing Tool

1. Analysis of Email Flow:

  • Track the path of each message through your system based on its metadata – from source to destination.
  • Identify bottlenecks or problems in processing.

2. Troubleshooting:

  • Identify delivery issues such as blocked messages or failed encryptions.
  • Find the cause for common error cases, e.g.:
    • "Email was not delivered" (e.g., due to a DNS error).
    • "Signature verification failed" (e.g., due to an invalid certificate).

3. Access to Logs:

  • View detailed logs for each message, including header information, status messages, and processing steps.

4. Filter Options:

  • Use powerful filters to search for specific messages:
    • Filter by sender or recipient.
    • Display message status (e.g., "delivered", "failed").
    • Define time periods to analyze specific logs.
