Organized and More Efficient with Tenants

A well-organized tenant is the foundation for efficient and secure use of Conbool. But what exactly is a tenant? A tenant represents your organization within the system and serves as a central container for all configurations, users, security policies, and data. Each tenant is isolated from others to ensure maximum security and privacy.

How to Create a Tenant:

  1. Click on "Add a Tenant" on the Home Page:
    • On the home page, you'll find the option "Add a Tenant". Click on it to start the process.
  2. Choose an Appropriate Name:
    • The name of your tenant should be clear and meaningful for easy identification.
Tip: Use a consistent naming convention that aligns with your organizational structure.
  3. Confirm the Creation:
    • After entering the name, click on "Create Tenant". Your new tenant will now be set up.

Important Notes:

  • Only the main owner of the tenant has the permission to delete it. Make sure this role is clearly defined.
  • After creation, you will automatically be directed to the Tenant Main Page, which provides an overview of all functions.

What to Expect on the Tenant Main Page?

The Tenant Main Page serves as the central hub for all configurations and functions of your tenant. Here you'll see:

  • An overview of active settings and rules.
  • Quick access options to important menu items such as routing, cryptography, or group management.
  • Features that help you quickly identify open tasks like adding DNS entries or certificates.
