Geo & Network Filter
Geo and network filter: filter emails by country of origin or IP address.
Geo & Network Filter – White-/Blacklisting and Geo-Blocking
With the Geo & Network Filters, you can granularly control email reception — based on the geographic origin of the sending servers or specific IP addresses.
This allows you to effectively restrict targeted attacks, spam waves, or unwanted communication channels.

Enable Geo Filter
- Function: Filters incoming emails based on the country of origin of the sending server.
- Setting:
- Toggle to the right (blue) → Geo filter active
- Toggle to the left (gray) → Geo filter disabled
Blocked Countries
- Function: When the geo filter is active, emails from the selected countries are blocked.
- Setting:
- Display: "X selected" → Number of blocked countries
- Below: Selected countries as tags (e.g., Afghanistan, Albania)
- Selection via dropdown list
IP Blocklist
- Function: Blocks emails from specific IP addresses or IP ranges — independent of other filters.
- Setting:
- Text field: Enter an IP address or range to block
- Example:
192.168.1.1
IP Whitelist
- Function: Defines IP addresses or IP ranges that are always accepted — even if other filters apply.
- Note: If the whitelist is used exclusively, the system will only accept messages from these IPs.
- Setting:
- Text field: Enter an IP address to allow
- Example:
10.0.0.1
