Enter Domain

Step 1.1 of the manual setup. Register the email domain in Conbool.

What happens here: The email domain is registered in Conbool. Conbool reserves it for the tenant so only this tenant can set DNS records for the domain in the next step.

Effort: A few seconds.

Procedure

  1. In the Setup Assistant under Home → Setup, the Registration step opens.
  2. Enter the email domain, for example yourcompany.com.
  3. Click Continue.

The domain is now reserved for this tenant. Final verification follows in the next step via DNS records.

Done When

The domain is marked as "entered" in the Setup Assistant. The next wizard step is unlocked.

Next Step

→ Step 1.2: Set DNS Records: add four DNS records at the DNS provider so the domain is verified and mail traffic can be signed and received.
